Planning a relaxing getaway in the U.A.E???
Well here’s a place I can suggest where you can not only relax in the peaceful environment along the beach side but also participate in the water sports. Sounds like the perfect place doesn’t it? Fujairah is small town situated near Dubai. It is about a 2-3 hour drive from Dubai. It showcases few of the best resorts along the beach side of Miramar. Among the few of the most luxurious 5 star Resort :

MY STAY AT FUJARIAH:
During my trip to Fujairah I stayed at Iberotel Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort.This Resort is situated about a 15 minute drive away from the city. However , I can definitely say for a fact that it was one of the most relaxing places I have ever been to.
If Lounging in the sun working on your tan along the beach side, opting for a day in the spa, swimming in the pool & trying out various cuisines each day is how you picture your vacation then I can definitely say that this is the place to visit. Suitable for both couples and families to spend some quality time together.
THE ROOMS & SUITES AT THE RESORT:
The rooms at the resort were all Moroccan styled seeing that the theme of the Resort is Moroccan .
I stayed at the Al Dana suite with a mountain view . All the rooms in the Resort come with an option of either a mountain or a beach view . Well I chose the former. The facilities provided in the rooms vary from one to the other depending on the type you book.
This Resort offers one of the most luxurious rooms with a private balcony for each room. These private balconies offer the views of the Hajjar Mountains , the pool or the Indian Ocean.
Each room also comes equipped with a mini bar, air-conditioning & TV.
I must also say that I was quite impressed with the suite interiors and the service of the housekeeping staff.
THE CUISINE:
A variety of fine dining options are available at Iberotel ranging from traditional Middle Eastern cuisine to Italian cuisine and Asian dishes.
Breakfast is served at the main restaurant and is a lavish spread for both the vegetarians and non vegetarians . The breakfast includes dishes from falafel to typical English Breakfast and at times even a few Indian dishes are served.
Lunch and Dinner:
Craving for Italian or Asian?
Well the Resort cannot get any better!
Apart from dining at the main restaurant, options for Asian food and Italian is also available.
The Italian cuisine is exquisite and is available at the poolside Italian restaurant and the dinner is a must for anyone who stays at this Resort.
The Asian food including Malaysian and Chinese dishes are also delicious .
ENTERTAINMENT :
The entertainment team at the Resort also organises live music with dance shows and folklore as well as various group entertainment activities throughout the day.
The Fakir Show showcased during my visit was the highlight of the stay.
FACILITIES:
The Resort provided amazing facilities including :
– A spa
– A diving centre
– Outdoor and indoor pools
– On site shops
– Gyms
– Tennis courts
– Its own Asian Restaurant & Italian Restaurant along with a main restaurant.
– Discothèque
HEALTH AND HYGIENE:
The health and hygiene protocols at the Resort were up to the mark . However the sauna and steam area at the wens spa was a bit smelly therefore measures regarding this problem should have been taken care of.
OUT TO THE CITY:
There is not much to visit in the city therefore I would recommend that Fujairah is only pleasant to visit for relaxing purposes and to have a leisurely time.
If you are interested in experiencing the glitzy city life then I would say put on your seatbelts guys cause you are in for a ride with me to Dubai!!!!
